Possibly best known as the writer of "Three Old Rusty Nails", Bret Walton began his career as a musician. As the drummer for Armageddon and Easy Street, his education in the music industry came from experience. Moving into songwriting and ministering, Bret's music circled the globe via television and radio. His songs have been recorded my numerous artists such as Mike Purkey, Dottie Rambo, Eric Hinson, and The Galileans and have been featured on Daystar and Trinity Broadcasting Netork. Perhaps most notable among his experiences is that of having co-written with Dottie Rambo. Bret, his wife Sandra, and daughter Rachel have appeared on Trinity Broadcasting Network's program, Praise The Lord.
Today, Bret and Sandra own Destiny Now LLC. The multi faceted company serves as a record label, with production, publishing, and promotion divisions. Additionally, Destiny Now continues to grow in the areas of web development, website design, website hosting, and search engine optimization for artists, songwriters, musicians, and businesses. Destiny Now works in multiple genres of music such as Southern Gospel, Christian Country, R&B Gospel, Country, and others. Destiny Now's clients and artists include Christian Country Artists such as Ricky Lee and Joel Lance and Southern Gospel Artists such as The Hinsons and The Swansons. Additionally, Destiny Now is the record label of songwriter and artist DanaRobinson.
In 2004, Bret Walton formed the Unity Radio Network with music industry professionals across the country. What began as an internet radio station has now grown into a vehicle for artists seeking more exposure and opportunities in the music industry. In 2007, Unity Radio Network started its award program in an effort to recognize deserving industry professionals such as artists and songwriters.
