DESTINY NOW'S SANDRA WALTON

Sandra Walton is co-founder and operations manager of Destiny Now LLC. With an extensive and successful background in corporate sales, the success of Destiny Now's clients is a top priority. "Many times when an artist comes to us, he or she will tell us how frustrated they've become and wonder what the next step is. We have learned to ask a few questions that every artist should know the answer to:

1. What Is Your Ultimate Goal? Sometimes the simplest question is the hardest to answer. We'll typically get the standard answers which can sometimes be very vague or very broad. If you can zero in on what it is you want to accomplish as an artist, we can help you formulate a plan. The more details you give us, the more detailed plan we can give you as an artist.

2. What Have You Done? Have you recorded a project? Have you released a single to radio? Have you worked with booking agents? If you can tell us how far you've come, we know exactly where to start walking with you. As an artist, you are on a life long journey. Each accomplishment you have made is a step in that journey. Never stop traveling.

3. What Has Worked, What Hasn't, and Why or Why Not ? I know this is more than one question, but I believe it's important to group them together. When you know something has worked in the past, you can duplicate those steps and repeat your success. If something hasn't worked, you should know why it hasn't worked and avoid making the same mistakes.

4. What Level of Committment Are You Willing To Make? At some point, each and every artist must make this decision in his or her career. This is not a decision to be made lightly. We work with artists and help them create a business model which suits their unique circumstances. We do not recommend making sudden, drastic changes which may have negative effects. Successes are rarely accomplished "overnight", and those rare few seldom last. Your success should be a lifelong committment.

5. What Is Stopping You? If you have made it to this point, you obviously have something inside driving you. Maybe it's time for an honest look at your talents and abilities and weigh them against all the excuses for not doing something with them. If you're willing to take action, there is always a way. You were entrusted with something valuable, it's time to work with it.
